Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics she won gold in both team floor and the individual events. The bronze medal was awarded by her balance bar. She was the first Olympic gymnast who won the most medals. The 2016 Olympics brought her a gold at the team event. This earned both she as well as Gabby the honor of being the only Americans to ever win consecutive gold medals for a team. Additionally, she won silver in individual all around and floor exercises. Between the two Olympics she had taken a break from competitive gymnastics for 3 years. She was also a part of the gold medal winning American team at two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice at the age of two and her favourite event is floor workouts. Aly contributes her time and money to Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. Aly is planning to pursue the profession of a fashion designer. The next goal she has is expanding her trademark range of leotards. Fierce is a book that she will release later this year.
